Service overview
DMCA WatchDog provides monitoring and operational takedown support: we scan for copies of your content or brand, organize what we find into reviewed findings, and help you prepare takedown packets you can send to hosts and platforms. Account responsibility
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
Acceptable use
Use DMCA WatchDog only for lawful monitoring of content and brands you have a legitimate interest in protecting. Don't use the service to harass, surveil, or gather information on private individuals, or for any purpose that violates applicable law or another party's rights.
Customer-submitted monitoring targets
When you submit domains, search terms, or URLs for monitoring, you confirm that you have the right to request monitoring of that content or brand, and that the targets are publicly accessible material — not private, login-gated, or otherwise non-public information.
No unlawful, private, or login-only monitoring
You may not ask us to monitor private accounts, password-protected areas, direct messages, or any other non-public, login-only content. Requests that would require bypassing access controls or accessing private data are not permitted and may result in account suspension.
Billing and subscriptions
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Plan features, limits, and pricing are described on our pricing page. Changes to your plan take effect according to the billing cycle shown at checkout or in your account.
Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing section. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not retroactively refund completed billing periods except as described in our refund policy.
No guaranteed removals
We help you find infringing or impersonating content and prepare clear, well-organized takedown requests. We cannot guarantee that any host, platform, search engine, or registrar will act on a request, how quickly they will respond, or that content will be removed. Outcomes depend on third parties outside our control.
Limitation of service
DMCA WatchDog is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to keep monitoring, alerts, and the portal running reliably, but scanning coverage, timing, and findings can vary based on the sources we monitor and factors outside our control. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DMCA WatchDog is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
